Dear Mr. Butchard,

Our family continues to settle into our wonderful Parkside Custom Home in the Avondale Ranch subdivision. I wanted to inform you that you have a great staff of personnel working for your company and to thank you for building our wonderful home! We have worked with all areas of your staff - sales, design, and construction - during the building process. We have nothing but great things to tell you about their efforts to make our home building experience a positive one.

Our first contact with Parkside Custom Homes was way back in the summer of 2003 when we met with Jim South. We had started to look around and had ideas of selling our existing home to build a larger home on a larger lot. We started our home building education when we met with Jim on several occasions. Jim is as much an educator as salesman. He truly wants you to understand the process and what goes on in building a custom home. At that point we decided we better sell our existing home before committing to building a custom home. We told Jim that as soon as we sold our home we would be back. We did not know that it would be seven months before we finally got our home sold due to the largest inventory of existing homes on the market in Fort Worth history! As we were waiting to sell our existing home, Jim continued to touch base to see how we were doing.

After we sold our existing home, we took another look around to see what might have changed during the past year. We talked to several other builders again but we ended up right back talking Jim South at Parkside Custom Homes.

We now went into full speed ahead on creating the final home plans and picking out the lot that the home would be built on. We had many more meetings with Jim an/or Chris Thomas along with your design staff to pick out all of the custom home items that we wanted. We felt like “a kid in a candy store” with all the selection that we could make. So truly this home would be uniquely ours.

Your company was instrumental in helping us make contact with a wonderful finance company that made the home a reality.

Once we moved into our home we were introduced to Paul LaRoche the Construction Manager and Donna Lawson the Warranty Manager. There was a small list of items that needed Paul and/or Donna’s attention as we settled into the home. They have been totally committed to getting these items resolved expeditiously.

The notebook that you put together that pulls all information on our home and the contact points to the different suppliers and subcontractors as well as the home owners association is a great reference tool. Thank you ever so much for this information.

I cannot thank you enough for your company’s efforts to build our home the way we wanted it. There was never a feeling of pressure to build with your company and that the relationship being formed was more important. We truly feel that we have many great new friends and extended family at Parkside Custom Homes. We look forward to a lifelong relationship with your company. We constantly recommend to our friends, co-workers, and acquaintances that if you are looking to build a new home that they visit with our very good friends at Parkside Custom Homes!!!
